Our program doesn’t just prepare you for an HVAC career – it turns you into a top-tier consultant, the lifeblood of our company. After completing Top Tech University, you’ll join our HVAC Team, earning $60,000 – $100,000 per year if you meet our high standards.
HVAC Sales/Service Consultants have three leading roles:
- Consultant Mindset: Confidently ask customers questions, listen closely, provide clear and honest answers, and offer multiple solutions to serve and sell effectively.
- Safety Advisor: Identify and solve safety issues in customers’ homes, using straightforward explanations to highlight the importance of reducing risks and ensuring family safety.
- Technical Expert: Explain technical details to customers and perform necessary repairs, making their homes safer and more comfortable.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Proven customer-facing communication skills, with top performers coming from diverse industries like sales, hospitality, real estate, banking, automotive, healthcare, food service, and more! If you have customer-facing experience, we can teach you the technical skills!
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to achieve success in your career.
Job Summary:
As a Sales/Service Consultant at Golden Rule, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop your skills and knowledge in HVAC and sales. Throughout our 3-month program, you will be exposed to a well-balanced mix of classroom instruction, hands-on training, and valuable field experiences, including ride-a-longs with our experienced service technicians. By the end of the program, you will earn an EPA Certification and become NATE certified, setting the foundation for a rewarding and long-lasting career with us.
- Provide 5-star customer service.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC concerns inside the customer’s home
- Offer the customer multiple options for repair or replacement
- Perform residential HVAC services
- Explain the benefits of our Gold Club Membership program

Job Requirements:
- Strong passion for pursuing a career in the trades/sales industry
- Exceptional customer service skills and a desire to provide a world-class customer service experience

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Must present a professional image by arriving on time, being neat and well-groomed
