No one should be hungry for the holidays!
This holiday season, Golden Rule is giving back. We are on a mission to provide meals to feed hungry children, seniors, families, and veterans. Golden Rule is proud to join the Hunger-Free Holidays Campaign with the Food Bank of Iowa! We will be doing a can drop-off the week of Dec 14th – Dec 18th at various locations across the metro, so be on the lookout for additional details on drop-off locations. Once we have collected the can goods, we will be constructing a can Christmas tree! Help us create the magic of providing a meal this holiday season. Join our Hunger Free Holidays campaign below and make a difference in the life of an Iowan in need. We would love to collect over 21,000 can goods or donate 21,000 meals across the metro. All December long, we will be also accepting can good donations at our 804 Office or you can provide them to our technicians while they are at your house during December. Win a Free Movie Ticket by Donating Canned Goods!
What better way is there to celebrate the holidays than by watching fun holiday movies? On December 19th, Golden Rule is putting on an exciting movie event for those who participate in our canned food drive! When you donate a canned good to us to send to the Food Bank of Iowa, you will receive a movie ticket to see the Polar Express. You can select your ticket to be applied to the 11:00 am showing or the 2:00 pm showing.
*Note: 1 can of food gets you 1 movie ticket (not valid for IMAX). Due to social distancing, seating is limited.
