Membership to Local Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical Provider Follows Golden Rule

Golden Rule offers front-of-the-line service, repair discounts, regular maintenance and free diagnostics on a home’s critical systems are part of working by life’s Golden Rule. These offerings – and the peace of mind they provide – are key elements of this Des Moines-based contractor’s growing annual membership program.

The Gold Club Membership is available for $99, a price the company believes dovetails with its mission.

“The Gold Club Membership is a great example of following the Golden Rule because the $99 is by far the cheapest in town for this service,” said Bobby Johnson, sales and marketing manager at Golden Rule, who noted that other providers can charge as much as $250 to $300 for a similar membership.

The Gold Club Membership is good for 12 months from purchase and includes two system checks and a plumbing inspection. The program offers front-of-the-line service and negates both trip fees and diagnostics charges. Members also receive ten percent off needed repairs.

“The membership pays for itself immediately in the peace of having a professional partner on call for any plumbing or HVAC need that arises,” said Johnson. “Plus, you have a partner focused on keeping your equipment maintained and running longer!”

This partnership is key to the vendor’s goal of treating customers well.

“We get to know our Gold Club Members and develop great relationships,” said Johnson. “As a member, you have a trusted partner in Golden Rule who feels we own these pieces of equipment as much as you do!”

Gold Club Membership is available by contacting the company. Additionally, Golden Rule technicians routinely offer it to non-members when out on a call.

“It is usually to the customer’s benefit to enroll and receive the 10% discount,” added Johnson. “Often the discount offsets the $99.”

Now is the perfect time to enroll and schedule air conditioning checks or have a plumbing inspection completed.

“Our guys can hopefully give the customers an idea of what to expect in the upcoming season,” said Johnson.
