You may nominate a deserving hometown hero who owns and occupies their primary residence within Golden Rule's service area. We encourage nominations for veterans, active military, first responders, teachers, healthcare workers, tradespeople, volunteers, caregivers, and anyone who makes a positive impact in their community.

Yes. To be eligible to receive the grand prize, the nominee must own and occupy their primary residence within Golden Rule's service area.

After the nomination period closes, a judging committee will review and score all eligible nominations using the judging criteria outlined in the Official Rules. One deserving hometown hero will be selected to receive the grand prize.

One (1) selected hometown hero will receive a FREE complete residential HVAC system, including a new air conditioner, new furnace, and professional installation. The approximate retail value of the prize is $10,000.

Eligible participants who submit a qualifying nomination and schedule and complete a qualifying HVAC System Check may receive a $250 America Credit toward qualifying HVAC repairs or a qualifying HVAC system replacement, subject to the Official Rules.

Yes! Your complimentary HVAC System Check is provided by Golden Rule at no cost. There is no obligation to purchase products or services. If your technician identifies qualifying HVAC repairs or a qualifying HVAC system replacement, eligible participants may receive a $250 America Credit, subject to the Official Rules.

No. You may submit a nomination without scheduling a system check. However, eligible participants who submit a qualifying nomination and schedule and complete a qualifying HVAC System Check may qualify to receive the $250 America Credit, subject to the Official Rules.
